Girish Patel
From a young age Girish has taken great interest in cooking. During the 90s, he ran a very successful catering business based in Stroud, called 'Samosanandas'. Specialising in Indian Vegetarian food. Due to the huge demand for his yoga work, he reluctantly closed the food business. His new venture is specifically offering a traditional 'thali' from the state of Gujarat in India, where his family originate.
Aradhana Kaur
Aradhana has been a lifelong foodie and has been vegetarian for half her life. She is the creator of Beautiful Heart Raw Kitchen and brings a raw flavour to the Thali Nights. Aradhana has created a couple of delicious raw food recipes for Burfi, the Indian sweet that is traditionally made from condensed milk and lots of sugar. The new version is vegan and free from refined sugar, and much easier on the palate with delicate cardamom and rose flavours.
Faye Vick
The youngest member of the team offering her exuberance for this very exciting enterprise. Faye's own experience of cooking, again adds a very colourful flavour to the whole process from purchase of raw ingredients, to the final touches of our very special evenings. Her travels have given Faye a beautiful outlook to all that she does and certainly the icing on our cake!
Widdy
As an all-rounder, Widdy is willing to assist in any aspect of the business and his philosophical outlook is a true asset. With his ever-smiling presence and the ability to view everything from unusual angles he brings an interesting touch to the business. Quietly, he is very able and willing to add that special ingredient to the team.
Daxaben Patel
Daxaben is our resident Gujarati cooking mentor (and Girish's sister-in-law). She is an expert Thali chef and maintains a traditional Indian kitchen. We are able to draw upon her expertise in order to sharpen our own culinary skills.
